For Android TV

All your cameras on one TV screen

CamGrid turns an Android TV box into a monitoring screen. It finds the cameras on your network, shows them in a grid and starts by itself when the TV is switched on.

Everything a camera wall needs

Set it up once from a browser and leave it running. CamGrid is built for screens that stay on all day.

Auto-start

Launches automatically when the box powers on. No remote, no clicks after a power cut.

Camera discovery

Scans your local network and finds supported cameras for you.

Web setup

Configure everything from any computer or phone at the box's IP address inside your network.

Flexible layouts

Fit cameras to the screen width, or show one large with the others rotating around it.

Audio per camera

Sound from cameras with microphones, switched on or off for each camera individually.

Direct RTSP

Any camera or recorder with an RTSP stream can be added by its address.

ONVIF

Standard ONVIF cameras are recognised and connected without manual stream URLs.

Local only

Video goes straight from the camera to the TV. No cloud and no account needed.

Works with the cameras you already have

Built-in support for popular manufacturers plus the open standards used by almost every IP camera.

Up and running in minutes

Three steps from a fresh box to a working camera wall.

Install on the TV box

Install CamGrid on any Android TV device and allow it to start with the system.

Add cameras

Let CamGrid find cameras on the network, or add a camera by its RTSP address.

Fine-tune from a browser

Open the box's address in a browser on the same network, e.g. http://192.168.1.50

Your video stays at home

CamGrid connects to cameras directly inside your local network. Streams are not uploaded anywhere, and the app does not require registration.

Questions

Which devices does CamGrid run on?

Android TV boxes and TVs with Android TV. A wired network connection is recommended when showing many cameras at once.

How many cameras can be shown at once?

It depends on the power of the box and the stream resolution. For large grids, use the cameras' lower-resolution sub-streams.

Can I watch cameras from outside my home?

CamGrid is designed for the local network: the screen and the web setup page work inside your network.

My camera brand is not listed. Will it work?

Most likely yes, if the camera supports ONVIF or provides an RTSP stream.
